Much . . . hmm, looking for the right word. Smoother in grain feel. Be interesting to see the difference once varnished. Nice german looking F holes, Peter, or at least they've got that feel to me. |

The grains are a bit farther apart, making it look a bit smoother. The pine top gives a warmer darker sound than spruce, or at least the last one I made did. I haven't heard this one yet. The varnishing is under way now. |
