At them moment, I can't really claim to play the fiddle.
I decided to upload some Chairs recordings that Eric Prust played fiddle (and other instuments) on.
Some of the older tunes are pretty bad in audio quaility, and I've only uploaded them to either the BHO or the FHO because I figure "old time" musicians might be ok with hearing old scratchy (and badly mixed) tunes.
He deserves a lot more credit as a musician and since I often leave out detailed info when uploading Chairs tracks to the internet, I've decided to include more detailed information regarding the tracks here.
He is such a big part of "The Chairs" sound, but it wouldn't occur for Eric to upload tunes he plays fiddle and banjo on (maybe because he plays so many instruments). So...I decided to do it for him (he knows about it) at both the fiddle and banjo hangouts under my name for now.

You've probably been playing fiddle for about 6 months - I hate you!. Seriously, this stuff is made of magic. No Aussie ever heard such stuff. I do all the summer folk festivals, and never hear anything like your music.

Eric Prust deserves all the credit (so far) for the fiddle playing!
He been pretty serious about the fiddle (amongst other instruments) for several years now.
Now he's into dobros...when he's not making banjos.
