This is a tune I'm learning, was emailed to me from a friend. I don't where it came from, but I think it a good one
on “Four Cent Cotton”

This is a Skillett Licker's tune - they liked to play in C because it seemed to fit Riley Pucket's voice range. I don't know if the tune originated with them though and - if not - where it came from.
Your version is different than there's - more melodic I think. I like it though.

I have the Skillet Lickers, this one for some reason is easier for me to hear the melody, maybe the guitar is not so dominant

I like your version Judd. I don't know who originated it but I don'r think it was the skillet Lickers. My great uncle played it. A great oldtime tune well played. Hilly<
