Demo banjo #035, an H. C. Nelson, probably made by Schall. Skin head, Nylgut minstrel strings. The Skillet Lickers recorded this, played each part 2 or three times, and not everyone was in synch for the transitions from part to part. I like how it goes with each part played 3 times.

I really like the version of this tune that was recorded by Alec Dunford, Crockett Ward, and Fields Ward in 1937 for the Library of Congress. Nylon strings on a Weymann banjo mando.
