A cornerless violin gotten from Gianna Violins, taken apart, converted to left-handed and refinished with a very light french polish. Another is a lefty fiddle made from parts of three righty fiddles.

There's a lot of instrument-swapping in this combo, since mosta us like to demonstrate our ineptness on a wide range of instruments. However, here's who played what on this track, I THINK: Peter sang while slumming on de old banjo, John Cohen played rolling-cadence existential banjo, Hubby Jenkins played guitar, Jeannie Scofield played percussion and sang, Zoey Stampfel played drum and sang. I bowed AND strummed the fiddle.
