Fire on the Mountain...Reprise.

Monday, June 27, 2011 @4:26:42 PM

Well the fire is 100% contained, not out but unlikely to go anywhere. The humidity is up somewhat and the beautiful monsoon clouds are blowing up from old Mexico. It's also "hotter than a two dollar pistol". That's a very good sign that the rains are near. There's nothing more refreshing than a desert rain. my friends who got burned out are doing OK ( they have really good insurance). Now when I play "Fire on the Mountain" it's just a good tune, without any trace of the disaster that loomed and was (mostly ) averted.

Was wondering as I watched the news every evening if you guyes were affected by the fires. The photos were awful but, the people that were interviewed were all such troopers and just ready to get one with their lives.
