And why must they say viola "v-ie-ola"

whats the difference its the nut at the other end of the bow. when a classecal person plays its a violin when its folk, blue grass ,irish or any other thats not classcel its a fiddle other wise its the same thing |

My wife has requested that I call my fiddle a violin so that my daughter doesn't get confused with her alphabet blocks. I'm tempted to repaint the blocks. I play bad fiddle, not bad violin. Next she'll be wanting me to call my blues harps harmonicas! |
