Snow. Snow. Snow?

Sunday, April 15, 2012 @6:07:34 AM

Where is spring? The trees are budding and the days have been off and on, warm and cool. This morning the temp is 35 degrees and a forecast that includes a winter weather advisory with 5 to 7 inches of heavy wet snow - a typical spring snow storm in the Borderland.

A good day to stay inside and fiddle around. I found the sheet music for The Lovers' Waltz and was able top play the first few bars. Not well, of course, but the music is there, in a very raw form. I can do this. I can learn to play an instrument and make music. Cool.

It is also a good day to work on some little, tiny, handmade books. And perhaps do some cooking as well.

Sounds like you have a great day planned. Light rain here and a good day to play the fiddle. I'm working on a new song, and then maybe a nap!!

Sorry you got dumped on....we are neighbors to the East...and only got flurries. Glad you didn't lose power. My first year playing (2 months in..:-0 ) we lost power for two days on Halloween...I got out my Xmas tune book and proceeded to play them all...on my two month fiddle fingers and bows....glad my husband did not shoot me.
