After spending almost 2 1/2 years in Arizona, I have come back east to my home in Ohio.
Right now it is raining cats and dogs. A tornado warning has been issued so apparently there is one in the vicinity.
I been playing with some very excellent Old Time musicians in Yellow Springs.
When I was out in Arizona, I typically had to travel a minimum of 200 miles to meet up with like minded musicians (those who like Old Time). Now it is about a half hour drive to Yellow Springs. The first time I joined up with their jam, they seemed shocked I drove that far.
I miss all my friends from out west. I do think that eventually I will move out there. Until then keep your fiddles bowed and your banjos plucked.
