Of course, Volume 1 is also still available. See the link to Billy's web-site, given in the classified listing.

Good seeing and playing with you again, too, Christine! I'm listening to the set now as I peruse the 'net.

By the way, Billy had nothing but complimentary things to say about your playing. I'd repeat them here, but you'd die of embarrassment, so. . . . Then again, we could talk about ponies, right?

May see you in a couple of weeks.

OK, the check's in the mail (or will be). Vol. 1 was worth the price of admission.

Just call me Dwight.

Actually the cost per tune is something like 40 cents a tune - that is a real deal. It still amazes me how Billy can remember all these tunes in his head. He is a state treasure.

Yes I do get embarrassed to talk about myself especially in a place like this, when you have no idea who reads it, or if they really understands the meaning of what is portrayed by words alone. Billy takes my banjo studies seriously, so when he compliments me he really should pat himself on the back. If he only lived down the lane from me we would be a great fiddle-banjo attack team and he could teach me more of his banjo tricks! Too little time......

I did put the horse out to pasture a few years back - you know the south 40 ....

Hello again Martin - Billy gave me permission to post three of his tunes here on the fiddle hang-out. These are from his 500 Fiddle tunes sets -

Bert Anderson Key C - traditional
Washington's March Key D - traditional
Grandpa's Old Time Waltz Key G - original tune

Hi, Chris! Glad to hear that you posted the tunes, and that you've talked with Billy. It's been a few weeks for me. Which reminds me . . . I do need to talk with him. Hope you can make it down in February!

Billy has now released the third volume of 100 in the set of five volumes. The classified link has been edited to show all three available volumes now.

Also, Billy has an up-coming work-shop in February. Read all about it here:

There was a glitch in the shopping cart on Billy's site that did not allow for purchasing Volume 3. This only recently came to light. It's all fixed now, with instructions on how to order multiple volumes.

I do have my copy of Volume 3, though. There are several tunes on there that I'd never even heard of.
