Currently mine is Nigel Tufnel. I just love the way he plays with such emotion, as is evident at about .50 in to this video:

I wonder if he uses Finger Ease?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to report this video to the ASPCF. : )

There are many fiddlers I admire, by the way, but I think my favorite is Emmett Lundy.

And the purple tights perfectly complement the performance..

Humbled, I'm guessing you've already bought a pair like that?

At least he concentrates on his tuning.

I'm glad he tuned, it was getting annoying.

BTW, who's that meathead conducting the interview?

This fiddler's "courage under fire" is a true inspiration.

Oh yeah, got my purple tights ready (to be taken off, of course) for the Nack Nude Cripple Crik Odt Time Fiddle (Let it ALL) Hangout Co-ed Festival. But how do I get my electrick geetar and amp powered in this crik?

Okay, I just viewed a few more Spinal Tap songs, "What the Flower People Say" and "The Majesty of Rock," and my life is now changed, for the better, here are a few lines from these gems, to whit:

"The farmer takes a wife; the barber takes a pole...It's the majesty of rock..." and
"I know for I told me so," etc.

Brilliant.

Plug them into a currant bush.

I tried to run this through Amazing Slowdowner but it didn't help. How can I order the sheet music to the piece he was playing?
