This is another tune that, since I have changed strings and am getting a different tone from my fiddle, sort of just came out of my head. I've heard it many times, mostly Skillet Lickers and Red Fox Chasers and just worked out the fingers yesterday while waiting to set up for a wedding gig It's super fun. Can't wait to play it for dancers.

Sounds great ChickenMan. I think this one is from Ireland originally... correct me if I'm wrong though.

By the way, is that one of your chickens in your avatar picture? I have chickens too. Buff Cochins, Silver Sebrights, and Mille Fleurs.

That is a former resident (long story) of our coop, Mr. Fancypants, standard buff Cochin who was about two feet tall. I should update my avatar, we have a bantam partridge Cochin rooster now. He's gooood lookin'. Our hens include, buff Orpingtons, black Australorps, and silver laced Wyandottes.
McCleod's is probably a more correct spelling. From The Session site: "This is a truly international tune. Scottish in origin, it has become a staple of both the Irish and American musical traditions."

I play a version inspired by a recording on tinfoil.com that was done with Irish pipes. I call it Ms. McLeods.

Haha he's a BIG chicken. My Buff Cochin bantams are all under 1 foot tall. But they act like they are 10 feet tall!
