No, she didn't play fiddle. But I like to celebrate her birthday with my old time friends here.

Maggie is well known for her singing. She was terrific banjo picker, too. When I visited her in '81, she couldn't sing nor pick banjo anymore. She passed me a small round can then. That was only time I ever tried chowing tobacco, YACK!

Here I try Drunken HIccups on Harmony "Hammons special" banjo(bakelite rim with skin head). Hope you ladies and gentlemen don't mind banjo here on FHO.

Maggie is the first lady of old time music in my book. Thanks for sharing. Got to love those bakelite banjos! I have an 8 year old student learning banjo on his grandfather's bakelite Harmony with skin head.
