No, she didn't play fiddle. But I like to celebrate her birthday with my old time friends here.
Maggie is well known for her singing. She was terrific banjo picker, too. When I visited her in '81, she couldn't sing nor pick banjo anymore. She passed me a small round can then. That was only time I ever tried chowing tobacco, YACK!

Maggie is the first lady of old time music in my book. Thanks for sharing. Got to love those bakelite banjos! I have an 8 year old student learning banjo on his grandfather's bakelite Harmony with skin head.
