Please don't think ill of me I am not a deserting.
I know that it is not exactly a fiddle tune buuuut I have been thinking
that it would be nice to know a classical tune aswell and I think I would like to give this a go or at least some of it.

So is there any one that can tell me where I can find Bach Sonata for Solo Violin No.1 in G minor for Tabledit?.

I do not, Jamie, but don't feel alone. I play two Bach pieces every time I practice, one Partita, and Jesu, Joy of Mans Desiring.
If you read notation I can send you a link to everything Bach wrote.

Jamie, you can find the music for that piece, as well as other Bach violin music, in .pdf format here: theviolinsite.com/sheet_music/bach.html

I'll be surprised if you can find tab for something like that. Classical players generally learn from written music. Maybe its time to learn yet another new skill.

If you have the Tabledit program (not the TEFview), you can enter the notation and have it converted to tab.

Give yourself a Christmas gift of all times, get started to read Music, (standard notation for Violin) it opens a whole new world for you. I did at age 61, now you know you can do it ! You would never ever regret this ..............

Wow! Learning to read music at 61. Way to go. I recently met a retired doctor who started learning to play the fiddle at age 80. He's purty darn good too. All these people give me so much inspiration, as I am retired and just picked up the fiddle 2 years ago. Thanks!

Jaime, It really isn't that difficult to learn standard notation. Just give it 15 min. of your practice schedule everyday. You'll be amazed how quickly you catch on, and the beautiful melodies that await. Just get a beginning violin method book. You'll be glad you did!
